It is obvious and a typical application of thermogaphy to identify issues before repair with bearing intensive machines like the CNC machine. The not so obvious is those machines that are out of reach and may require a boom to perform preventative maintenance. We can quickly take infrared pictures of air handlers and other equipment located near the ceiling to reveal a hot bearing before the unit goes down. This allows you a much more effective preventative maintenance program.

Vibration analysis is great for electric motor bearings, but first establish a solid base line by having us perform an infrared survey on all of your  industrial bearings. Machine thermography is great for high speed ball bearings like those found on a cnc machine. They say an  electric motor picture is worth a thousand words,  thermography even helps the lubrication engineer with equipment lubrication. Make thermography part of your preventative maintenance program and see electric motor repair as planned (not costly unscheduled) downtime.
